Prey podcast review
In space, no one can hear you…turn into a toaster? Oh, I guess that means it’s time to talk about Prey!
Prey – QorC Ep.94
Prey has been out for a few months now, and the fanfare has died down since its release. Well, that’s a bit of a lie. There wasn’t really any fanfare, was there? For a game from such an ambitiuos studio as Arkane, who made our 2016 game of the year with Dishonored 2, Prey came and went, and is now all but forgotten.
So does it deserves this fate, or is it time to look back and revaluate what Prey was? A sequel that bore no relation to its predecessor, and replacing a previous build of a cyberpunk version from a different studio, Prey had a rocky development. We sit down and chat about our experience with the game, and how it compares to others in Arkane’s catalogue, as well as pondering enemy design, environments, mission types and a whole load more.
